From polyglot as I am, I can assure you that one of the things to do to learn a language is to listen to the music of the country.
I listen to the Kents, the Swedish group that is alternative rock. Last year in Sweden I bought the complete collection of their albums plus their penultimate cd called "rod".
On youtube there are a lot of their songs. And the site kent.awardsspace ( http://kent.awardspace.com /) you can find all the texts in both Swedish and English.
