Everyone Pay For Themselves Invite Wording

BERLIN! / BERLIN READ AND WIN!

Would you like to fly with me to Berlin for free ?
It’s no joke and here you can discover why: living there, I obviously had more stuff than just the big and the small backpacks I took with me on my journey. Now it’s time to take everything back home, but:
- what I have to take home is heavier than what a flight ticket for one person allows;
- paying the airline to allow those extra kilos would be incredibly expensive;
- shipping via post wouldn’t anyway be that cheap.

So I’ve decided to do this: one of you can come along and I pay the airplane ticket . Once there, you would have your own personal guide to see the city during the day and then to enjoy the nightlife. Finally, early the following morning we would fly back to Milan, at a time that won’t prevent you from going to work if you have to. Check dates and details:

Leaving on: Wednesday, May 13th
From: Milan (Orio al Serio), 6:45 AM
To: Berlin Schoenefeld, 8:20 AM

Coming back on: Thursday, May 14th
From: Berlin Schoenefeld, 6:30 AM
To: Milano Malpensa, 8:10 AM

You can obviously bring a hand baggage with you. I just need to give you my extra piece of luggage to be carried in the aircraft hold (the so-called checked baggage) on our return flight to Italy.
How do I choose who comes along? Express your ability to persuade writing an e-mail to
alongerwayhome@hotmail.it Within 10 PM today. Leave your phone number
To Be Contacted tonight. Then see you at the airport!

Who wants to fly to Berlin for free with me?
No joke, I explain why: avendoci lived, I was obviously more things that only the big and the small backpack that I brought on the road. Now it's time to bring everything home, but:
- what I surpasses the weight of luggage granted to a passenger aircraft;
- pay the surcharge for excess weight would have an exorbitant cost;
- send by mail would not be much loss.

So I thought I'd do this: to give you an opportunity to accompany the flight and I'll pay . Once there, you would have your personal guide to visit the city during the day and then enjoy the nightlife of Berlin. Then the next morning with the first flight back to Milan, at a time that does not prevent you from going to work in case you need to. Here are the details:

Departure: Wednesday, May 13
From: Milan (Orio al Serio), at 6:45
A: Berlin Schoenefeld, 8:20

Return: Thursday, May 14
From: Berlin Schoenefeld, 6:30
A: Milan Malpensa, at 8:10

E ' can easily bring a carry-on luggage, since I only need to pass my second as your hold luggage for the flight back to Milan.
How will choose who accompanies me? Indulge your persuasive abilities with an e-mail to
alongerwayhome@hotmail.it later than 22:00 today .
Leave a telephone number to be contacted tonight. And then we see all’aeroporto!

Toothpick Truss Bridge Blueprints

I COME BACK TODAY / TODAY RETURN

Tonight at about 10:30 PM my train will stop in Milan, Italy and with a 20 minutes car ride I will get home.
Things to say would be too many, just like when somebody says “Come on, tell me something about your journey!” or wants to see the pictures I’ve taken. You just cannot sum up 5 weeks and thousands of kilometres easily.

With this entry I avoid being philosophical, and being this hypothetically the last one who can really attract your attention, there are some things I do want you to know :
1: In about 3 weeks you will find a free-download surprise right here on my blog. I’ve been working on it while travelling and I just have to put the final touches to it.

2: I’m doing as much as possible to find a publisher to see if my adventure can become a book . My idea is to write something between a travel guide for young/low budgeted people and the story of my journey. It’s weird that the real problem is finding a publisher instead of being able to write a book: I’ve got no problems with the latter but great difficulties with the first.

3: Among you blog readers there are some friends, but also many people I don’t personally know. I’d be glad if we could find a way to meet, that’s why I’m thinking about organising a party to have a drink together. If among you there’s somebody in the Milan’s (area) nightlife business, please contact me.

4: I still have photos to publish and some thoughts to share. I don’t want this Blog to run out of topic, but until the day of the free-download surprise it will be constantly updated. Then we will really reach its end.

Right now I’m enjoying the last hours in Geneva , Switzerland. Besides Kalkbrenner’s night, I had planned to come here to give the last papers to the University office, since I was thinking about moving here for the next 2 years to attend a Master course in Translation. I spoke with a few about it, and to this few I now say that for several reasons I won’t. This journey helped me find a clear view on this topic, too.
Finally, it was a very nice week-end here: Cecilia hasn’t made me starve, her whole group of friends is super, on Saturday night DJ Willy changed my life and I gave back Clio the towel she left at my place in Berlin.
Now I can really make the last 345km to go back home. And “tomorrow is another day” .

Questa sera alle 22:30 circa il mio treno arriverà a Milan and in twenty minutes by car then I'll be at home.
would be too many things to say, just like when someone tells me "Come on, tell something of the journey," or want to see the photos. Summarize five weeks and thousands of miles is not something that you do so easily.

avoided going too philosophical with this post was hypothetical and this is the last chance to have your undivided attention, here are some things that I know absolutely :
1: In about three weeks you will find here a Blog free downloadable surprise. I worked on this trip and I just have to give the final touches.

2: I'm doing everything possible to find a publisher, to see if my adventure can become a book . The idea would be to give birth to a cross between a travel guide for young and / or passenger flights and an account of my experience. The ridge is that the real problem is to find the publisher and not know how to write the book: I would not have any problem with the second aspect, but there are great difficulties with regard to the first.

3: Some of you blog readers there are some friends but also many people with whom we do not know personally. I'd be happy if we could find a way to meet everyone and then I'm thinking of organize an evening where Berci something together. If there is anyone among you who works in the Milan nightlife area, please contact me.

4: There are still photos to be published and a few other thoughts to share. I do not want this blog to go off-topic, but to the surprise of the day free download will be constantly updated, then we'll really end.

Right now I am enjoying the last hours in Geneva . Apart from the evening Kalkbrenner, I organized to come to complete enrollment at the University, given the idea of \u200b\u200bmoving here to the next two years and attend a Master's in Translation. I had talked to a few and those few hours to inform you that for many reasons I will not. This trip also helped me to shed light on this.
Finally, the weekend was the best: Cecilia did not make me die of hunger, his group of friends is great, Saturday night DJ Willy me changed my life and I Clio restored in the towel that had left me in Berlin.
Now I can really do the last 345km to go home. And "tomorrow is another day" .

Community Service Hours Competition

BERLIN (RE) CALLING / BERLIN (RI) Call

I wanted to be there, I felt like I had to be there.
It’s no casualty if I decided to close my trip with a stage in Switzerland and right in these days. It was the city I left 5 weeks ago telling me to do that, it was Berlin calling , re-calling me with the magic of its music, played by a pied piper named Paul Kalkbrenner .

Slightly after I started my life in Berlin, the movie shot right there and starring him was released but despite I found the title interesting, I hadn’t the same interest in going to the cinema and matter of fact I didn’t. Four months and two sublets later, I woke up a morning with my flatmate John listening to a CD in the kitchen, and even though I’m generally not a fan of that genre I enjoyed what I was hearing. So I asked him who and what exactly we were listening to: the track was Marbles , the album title Self and the artist’s name Paul Kalkbrenner.
Together with Rock, electro music is what the Berliners enjoy the most, and Kalkbrenner’s sound was the bridge to make me go deeper into the city’s real mood.

Music is the vibe of a place and reveals more than what many may expect. Just by observing what the most of the people choose you can understand if a city lives fast, meditates, needs a rush, struggles, wants to have fun, is ruled by shallowness, etc. We choose something because we need that something, because we are that something.

Morphologically, Berlin has got a river named Spree; sociologically, a river named Electronic Music. I learned to love the both, but if to sail the first you have to be at a certain latitude and longitude, to float on the second you can also be somewhere else . You just have to be where Paul Kalkbrenner is. You can call him the 13th district of Berlin, the one I am still a citizen of.
----------------------------------------

Volevo esserci. Sentivo che dovevo esserci.
Non è un caso se ho scelto la Svizzera come mia ultima tappa e proprio questi giorni per arrivarci. It 'was the city that left five weeks ago to tell me to do was to call Berlin, to call me with his music, played by a pied piper named Paul Kalkbrenner .

Shortly after the beginning of my life on earth Teutonic, the film set in the capital and with him as a player landed in theaters, but although I found the title "Berlin Calling" ("Berlin calling") Interestingly I was also motivated in going to the cinema. In fact I did not go. Four apartments and two months later, I woke up one morning with my roommate John to listen to a CD in the kitchen and although I am not usually a fan of the genre, I was able to appreciate what I felt. Wondering what exactly came out of funds track the response was "Marbles" album "Self" and artist Paul Kalkbrenner.
Along with the Rock, the electronic music is what the people of Berlin and prefer the sound of the bridge Kalkbrenner was able to connect in a better way with the true state of mind of the city.

Music is the frequency on which a place is tuned, and is revealing much more than you think. Just looking at what the most you can choose whether he lives in a city fast, meditate, asking adrenaline, is struggling, he wants to have fun, is doomed to superficiality, etc.. You choose something because you need that little bit, because has that something.

Morphologically, Berlin has named a river Spree, sociologically a river called electronic music. I learned to love both, but if the first link on the geographical coordinates are vital to be transported from the second can also be from another part . You just have to be where Paul Kalkbrenner. Call the thirteenth district of Berlin, one of which is still a resident.

Driving In Italy With Indian License

Unusually Worried / ABNORMALLY WORRIED

After enjoying yesterday the Mediterranean Sea at the Calanques and having a last big walk through Marseille today because the wind was too strong to go to the beach, now the sun is going down closing the curtain on my last day here. And I’m worried , worried about the next stage.

I have never been worried before during this journey, not of one single city even though before getting to some for somebody it was like I was about to
enter a warzone . And I’m not worried about Geneva as far as the city –this is the only city of my journey I have already been to, and it’s one of the quietest on the Planet- I’m worried about Geneva as far as the people I’m going to be with. I’m risking my life with these two “meufs” (French slang for “girls”) who say they are going to take care of me.

The first comes from the same Italian town I was raised in. We attended school and then University together. I could tell a billion stories about her and about how much I had to act as a tamer to save her from her lazy ass. And the payback was getting constantly choked by the smoke of her cigarettes and being hearwise violated by his car stereo pumping out the same small bunch of awful mp3’s every fucking time. Moreover, in every visit I paid to her in Switzerland, she made me starve.
The second is a friend of the first, they are currently studying at the same University and they move together like a female version of Starsky & Hutch. Before I got to know her, legends over legends came to my ears and she was supposed to be like a panther from Tessin (the Italian speaking part of Switzerland), a Swiss time bomb ready to party to the fullest and all those stories. Then the two of them paid me a visit in Berlin, and this Tessin panther was more like a Swiss granny: always cold and tired and ready to go sleep sooner than everybody else. What a bomb!

And also this time, the two of them are making
great announcements : lots of “You will see!”, “We will do!”, “To the fullest!” etc.
Meufs, I warn you: if you talk bullshit, this time I really whoop your asses. And you already know tomorrow I’m anyways
making a scene soon as I get off the bus. Get ready!
;-)
------------------------------------------------ -------

After I enjoyed yesterday at the Mediterranean
Calanche and myself made a last hearty today around Marseilles as the wind was too strong to stay on the beach-now sun is going down and closing the curtain on my last day here. And I'm worried , worried about the next step.

During this trip, I never have been worried for no city though sometimes seemed to me to hear certain voices had faced a
theater of war. And they are not worried to Geneva because the city is the only trip that already has been and is certainly one of the most peaceful situations that our planet offers-are concerned about given the Geneva people with which I will. I'm risking my life with these two "meufs" (French slang for "girls") who say they will take care of me.

The first comes from my own village, we have medium and then with the University. I could tell a billion stories about you and what I had to act to save her by his own tamer lazy ass, to have then as a reward regular intoxication date from the smoke of her cigarette and continued violence on the part of his ear radio for a fucking eternity pumped the same few mp3 and terrible. In addition, each time I visited in Switzerland made me starve.
The second is a friend of the former, are studying the same university and move together as a sort of female version of Starsky & Hutch. Before I knew her, legends legends came to my ears and I was painted as a panther of Ticino, a Swiss time bomb ready to party to excess and all 'stories Ste. Then the two came to visit me in Berlin and the panther Ticino has proved to be a granny Locarno always frozen, tired and ready to go to bed before everyone else. What a bomb!

Yet this time the two are making big announcements
gusts of "You'll see", "We will do and undo", "We are finished!" And the rest.
Meufs, I warn you: this time if you take a crap shoot kicks ass. And now you know that anyway, just get off the bus tomorrow, I have to do a scene
. Be ready!
;-)

PAY ATTENTION! / WARNING!

That’s what everybody told me: “Pay attention, Marseille is dangerous ”. Matter of fact I got here yesterday after two quiet days in the quiet Montpellier and I’m shivering, uuuh! Let’s get serious, of course after just one day I cannot judge or sum up a city, you may need years to do it, but the worst thing I’ve seen so far is the bike thief in this photo, the first of three that portrait the story of his theft. The other two, together with plenty of other pics taken at every stage, will be shown after the end of my journey, so the life of this blog will not end once I come back home, and I’m currently managing to bring other surprises to light.

Pay attention!

And taking it back to Marseille, this city is definitely charming. Today was sunny and warm almost like in a summer day, it turned stormy just once I got back home with a brand new pair of shorts. French humour played by the weather, I suppose.

I’m planning to stay here one day more than expected, going to Geneva on Friday 24 th , because the weather forecast say it’s going to be warm and sunny here, and so after going tomorrow to the Calanques I’d like to spend the whole Thursday at the beach, plain ignorant style.

Pay attention!

By the way, it seems strange but in less than a week I’ll be home. After changing like a city every 3 days it will be hard to stick again to the same old 7000 inhabitants town I come from. After hugging my family and a lot of friends I haven’t seen for a while –things that make me happy- the risk is that it will all turn claustrophobic in a couple of days. And the chance to reach Milan in 10 minutes doesn’t help, believe me, ‘cause I’m nor a soccer player neither a showgirl, nor a millionaire neither a cocaine dealer , the only four categories who can really enjoy that city. I’ve got a masterplan and then a plan B, C, D, E, F, G, H and maybe some more. If the masterplan is successful, I’ll be happy to keep Italy as my base for a while and finally start a career; instead, if the other plans have to be put on work, everything will be done to leave again Italy as soon as possible. Destination unknown.

Pay attention!

----------------------------------------- ---------------

This is what everyone has told me: "Be careful, Marseille is dangerous." In fact I arrived here yesterday after two quiet days in Montpellier quiet and I'm shaking, oooh! Seriously Now, after only one day certainly can not judge a city or summarize, it may take years to do so, but the worst thing I've seen so far is the bicycle thief pictured above, which is the first of three that depict the story of the theft committed. The other two, along with many others taken in each step, the publish after the end of the trip and therefore the life of this blog will not end once I come home. I'm also doing so to realize other surprises.

Warning!

Returning instead to speak of Marseilles, I must say that it is certainly a city with the charm . Today was warm and sunny almost like in summer, a series of storms came later, right after I bought a pair of shorts. French humor of the time, I suppose.

I'm planning to stay here a day longer than planned, going to Geneva on Friday 24, as the forecasts say it will do good here and then visit the Calanques well tomorrow I would hold on Thursday for a Day -only beach, just ignorant.

Warning!

And anyway, it seems strange to think but in less than a week I'll be home. After changing a city on average every three days will be tough going back to stay in the dear old village of 7000 inhabitants come from. Once I re-embraced the family and friends have not seen for a long time-things that make me happy-the risk is that in a couple of days back atmosphere claustrophobic and the ability to reach Milan in ten minutes does not help, believe me, because I am neither a player nor a tissue or a billionaire or a coke dealer : the only four categories that you really enjoy the capital. I have a major project and then a series of plans B, C, D, E, F, G, H, and probably many others: if the main project takes off, I'll be happy to take Italy as a base and long-term finally start to have a career, otherwise, if the contingency plans must be operated, everything will be done in order to leave still Italy as soon as possible. Destination unknown.

Attenzione!

Heatlhy Eating Slogans

DANGER IS MY BUSINESS / THE DANGER AND 'MY JOB

It’s 5:30 PM and I have just the time to publish this entry, then I gotta go to the station to take the bus to Montpellier, France.
Today I started my flash visit through Valencia at midday, as usual walking randomly after taking a look at the map to spot the main direction: Barrio del Carmen, City of Arts and Science, harbour, beach. Everything was ok.

Then, since a storm was coming and I had already walked for a lot of time, I decided to go back to the hostel to have a little bit of time to rest before leaving, and the fastest way to go was west, straight west.
Two blocks after the beach I saw I was going into a rough part of the city , with old houses etc., but I was actually happy because I like taking photos in such environments. But the more I walked, the rougher got the zone, until the moment I realised I was in the middle of the gipsy area . Street after street people discussing, then quarrelling (“I told you I didn’t wanna see you around here anymore, this is MY street!”), then almost fighting. I was expecting to hear some gunshots as in the meantime I was telling myself that in one block it should all have been over, since that was the way to the city centre. But a couple of blocks later it still wasn’t over, and even though my postal code is not the 90210 of Beverly Hills , I started feeling on sight like every alone and not-gipsy face could have felt in such a situation. The antidote: since I thought it could have been too cool but too dangerous, I put my camera in my pocket, then black shades on, bold face and straight ahead without stopping to have a look at the map, ‘cause I would have been like a public announcement: “I’m a lost tourist, alone and with camera, cellphone –please, not again- and Euros in my wallet: the easiest prey ever, rob me!”. A minute later, on the other side of the street a drug addicted holding a can with his 2-fingered right hand told me to stop with his other hand, and there I was cold-blooded outside, but ready to emulate Usain Bolt (Van Damme next time) in case of need.
Countdown: 3, 2, 1 . Nothing, after making a couple of steps towards me, he went the other direction.

I walked more less 2 kilometres ahead, ate something in a safe zone and then got on the bus to the hostel. Now it’s time to eat something again and go to the station. Tomorrow I get to Montpellier at 6:30 AM and I’ll have to wait for my host until 9 PM.
Danger is my business.
----------------------------------------------------

17:30 and I have just enough time to publish this post, then I have to go to the station to catch the bus to Montpellier.
Today I started with my lightning visit to Valencia at noon, as always walking the case after giving a glance at the map to find the main direction to follow: Barrio del Carmen, City of Arts and Sciences, harbor, beach . Everything ok.

Then, as a storm coming and had already walked a lot, I decided to walk back to the hostel to rest for a minute pre-departure and quickest way to get there was to point to the west, straight across to west. Two blocks after
the beach I realized that I had penetrated a quarter of those abandoned, with old houses and so on. but I was also glad I finished it to take pictures in areas like this is something I like. But the more I walked, the area became worse, until I realized to be in the middle of gypsy quarter. Street after street people arguing and then arguing that ("I told you that you do not want to see more around here, this is my way!") And then almost started to beating each other. I expected to hear from any shot at any moment and I said to myself that within a block would have been out, because after all I was moving toward the center. But a couple of blocks after that was inside, and although the CPC is not the home of Beverly Hills 90210 , I began to feel like everyone in the viewfinder alone and without gypsy face would feel. Antidote: I think, yes, it would be cool, but also something of a risk, I put the camera away after dark glasses on, bold face and pulls Direct, "without stopping to look at the map, which would like to make an announcement like "I'm a tourist lost, alone and with a camera, cell phone-please, once again no, eh ... - is a bit of Euro in the portfolio. An easy prey: derubatemi. " One minute later, across the street from a drug addict that with only two fingers of his right hand holding a can, with his good hand beckoned me to stop here and I was cold outside, but inside is ready to emulate Usain Bolt if necessary (Van Damme again).
Countdown: 3, 2, 1 . Nothing, after a few steps towards me has changed direction.

I walked 2 km more or less still, eating something quiet and then taking the bus to return to the hostel. Now I eat something and go to the station. Tomorrow at 6:30 arrival at Montpellier and I'll have to wait until 21 per la persona che mi ospiterà.
Il pericolo è il mio mestiere.

Whats The Difference Between Ringworm And

ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ / ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ

If you take a look at my travel calendar, you can see that today I was supposed to move to Montpellier, France. Instead, surprise surprise, I’m in Valencia , Spain.
Since yesterday I knew I was moving to Montpellier one day later, and actually today I wanted to go to the beach in Cartagena. Then my plans shattered once I woke up later that expected and spent too much time between train and bus stations, getting some bad news : no way to get to Montpellier before Monday by train, and a 20 hours ride if I wanted to get there by bus tomorrow. Another solution had to be found.

Despite the enjoyable atmosphere at Livia’s place, I didn’t like the idea of spending some more time in Cartagena, because I was there enough to see everything I had to see, and waiting there until Monday would have had the taste of a being behind the bars . Maybe it’s due to the many construction sites of Cartagena, which made me feel like in Prison Break . So, in just 2 hours I decided to become a fugitive, and after packing my luggage in less than 15 minutes (record!) I took the first bus to Valencia, Spain, in order to have then less kilometres to go to reach France, as well as more means of transport.
First of all, I contacted my cell in Bilbao saying to call the sleeping cell I had here in Valencia. In the meantime I contacted my cells in Milan and Geneva to get the names of some hostels. Right choice, because the sleeping cell remained a sleeping cell and right now I’m writing from a hostel in the city centre. Tomorrow I’ll manage to wake up as soon as possible to get a clear view on the means of transport to Montpellier, where I will hopefully get on Sunday morning, then I’ll visit Valencia as much as I can. Finally, I hope to get on the bus to Montpellier at 20:30 or on the train on Sunday at 11:30.

Nobody’s gonna kill me if I get back home a couple of days later, but on the 23rd I Want to be absolutely in Geneva, Switzerland, You'll Understand why. And since I would not like to skip one of the two cities scheduled before That, Everything Becomes more difficult. And more exciting.
----------------------------------------

If you look at my calendar travel that you see now I should leave for Montpellier. Instead, surprise, here I am in Valencia .
Since yesterday I knew I would have moved to Montpellier with a day late and in fact today I wanted to do beach life in Cartagena, then my plans have crumbled in my hand when I woke up later than planned, after passing a 'infinity of time between the train and bus where I have come bad news: no chance of going by train to Montpellier before Monday, but can also take bus for tomorrow but a nice little trip for 20 hours. Hence the need to find another solution.

Despite the good atmosphere at the house of Livia, I did not want to stay in Cartagena because there are still enough left to see what I had until Monday inchiodarmici and had the taste of Gabbio , probably because the infinity of sites in the city made me feel like Prison Break . So in the span of two hours I decided to make after the fugitive and Storage within 15 minutes (record!) I took the first bus to Valencia, so you then have to do less miles to get to France and have a better chance together with transport.
First of all I contacted my cell saying Bilbao to call the sleeping cell Valencia and while I put in communication with cells in Milan and Geneva to have the names of some hostels. Right choice, since it is precisely the dormant cells remained dormant and now I'm writing from a hostel in the city center. Tomorrow I'll try to wake up as soon as possible to get me a clear idea on ways to go to Montpellier, where I hope to arrive Sunday morning, then I would Valencia visit as much as possible. I hope then to go by bus or train to 20:30 Sunday to 11:30. None

kill me if I come home a couple of days later, on 23 but I definitely want to be in Geneva, you'll understand why. And given the fact that I do not want the plan to eliminate one of the other two cities in the program before, things get more complicated. And even more challenging.

Where To Buy Dimethicome

A FIRST ASSESSMENT / A FIRST REPORT ON THE BUS

After waking up yesterday in front of Such A beautiful dawn in Manilva (click on it to enlarge the photo, finally done with my new camera), It Was Time to Move to Cartagena . Now it’s time to go northern and if before I was feeling like I was going away from Berlin, now I feel I’m really going back home. It’s a relevant mental shift , and I think it’s the right time to make an assessment on some aspects, even though the full one will come once the mission is completed.

I thought more than once on how people around me reacted and morally participated to my adventure:
-My friend Alessio Beltrami , the first I told my idea to, has been supporting and helping me from the early beginning. He’s a dynamic person, too: he will soon move to Japan , check his blog , I’d be glad if some of you could give him suggestions.
-My mother has not had a heart attack when I broke in with the news, and that means a lot. My father, who has always had the soul of an adventurer , was proud of my idea. The two of them were happy with what I was about to do from the first moment.
-A lot of friends , relatives and other people I have met in my life have been showing their enthusiasm, helping me concretely like Ema hosting me in London and Andrea giving me some useful contacts, or following my blog and sending me messages to show appreciation and to know if I was doing fine. I realized that what I’m doing is the dream of many.
-Moreover , a lot of people I didn’t know before have been helping me a lot -like Eulalie hosting me in Paris, Edurne and her family in Bilbao, and in general everybody related to Couch Surfing- or they have just been getting in touch with me to say they like what I’m doing and enjoy my blog entries.
This is my fuel . I wanted things like these to be my fuel.

On the other hand, some people behaved differently . There are people I know I don’t expect nothing from, full stop in this case. But there’s also people I have a close relationship with who haven’t reached out: not an e-mail, not a message, not a single word for best wishes. Nothing, even though everybody knows how important I consider what I’m doing. Furthermore in a couple of cases I’m feeling tension in the air.
And this is not my fuel. Even though feeling the challenge or reacting to negativity has historically worked in important situations of my life, for this journey I have decided since the beginning to only keep positivity as my fuel.

It’s usually easy to be glad about positive things, and on the other hand I should be sad about the negativity I’m facing, but I’m not: I’m happy instead, happy that this journey is making me discover not just new things, but also the truth about aspects and relationships which were already part of my life.
And I feel at peace with myself.

------------------------------------------------ ---

Yesterday, after waking up in the face of this beautiful sunrise in Manilva (click on it to see the big picture, finally done with my new car), it was time to move towards Cartagena. Now the north is the direction to follow and if before I felt like I was leaving Berlin, now I really feel that I'm coming home. It 's a change of view important and I think it's the right moment to take stock on certain areas, although the overall amounts'll pull a mission accomplished.

More than once I paused to think like the people I surrounding reacted morally and got part of my adventure: "My friend
Alessio Beltrami , the first one I talked about the idea, encouraged me and helped right away. He too is a person far from static: it will move very quickly in Japan , have a 'look at his blog and see if you have any good advice from him, I'd be happy. My mother-
has not done a heart attack when I gave her the news and this counts a lot. My father, who has always had the spirit of an adventurer , responded to my idea with pride. Both have shown themselves happy about from the outset.
- Many of friends, relatives and others my knowledge have expressed their enthusiasm, helping concrete such as Ema I stayed in London and Andrew passed me useful contacts, or by following my blog and contact me to express estimate for the company or to find out if everything was fine. I've got to understand that what I'm doing is dream of many.
-Plus , many people who did not know before have helped me a lot-as Eulalie I stayed in Paris, Edurne and her family in Bilbao and in general all those associated with Couch-surfing or simply have to live without me know that you appreciate what I'm doing and read my post nicely. This is my
fuel. Things like that I wanted to be my fuel.

other hand, some people have behaved in a manner different . There are people from whom I expect nothing, and that is that in this case. But there are people with whom I have a close relationship that have not had to ever hear: Do not e-mail, not a message, not a word of congratulation. Nothing, though the eyes of all has always been clear what I'm doing what I think is important. Moreover, in a couple of cases I feel that there is some tension air. This
not is my fuel. Although historically felt the challenge or counter the negativity has worked in key moments of my life, for this trip, I soon decided to take positive as fuel.

It 's always easy to feel happy for the good things, and then on the other hand I would be sad to feel anything negative. Instead, they are not, am happy that I'm doing this trip not only discover new things, but also the truth about some issues and relationships from before were part of my life.
And I'm at peace with myself.

How To Put We Prefer Cash Gifts

AGAIN / STILL IN COACH

Moving from Lisbon to Manilva (Gibraltar area), Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th. Pay attention to the timetable.

11 AM: one of the couch surfers saying goodbye wished me good luck, asking right after that if I was superstitious. “Absolutely not” was my answer, but since that moment I knew bad luck was in the air.

9 PM: the bus left Lisbon Oriente Station with a 15 minutes delay .
9:10 PM: the bus made the first stop to pick up other passengers and the driver announced a 5 minutes pause, obviously to let incontinent and nicotine addicted people have the relief they had already been so long waiting for. Rent a car.

10 PM: while struggling to find the less worse position to fall asleep, I started spotting out the main characters of the trip: right in front of me 2 members of the English girlband Las Ketchup and in front of them one of the Gipsy Kings with most probably one of his groupies. I swore to myself to start a riot at the first possible hint to “Asereje” or “Djobi Djoba”. And a war in case of a collabo.
10:01 PM: the bus left the highway and started going through narrow town streets . I started wondering if the driver had forgotten his handkerchief home.
10:04 PM: I realized the bus was going that direction to pick up some other passengers. To avoid travelling with somebody annoying next to me, I started playing the “dead dog” : laying on the 2 seats pretending to be asleep, with my hood on and my hands almost covering my face. Eyes slightly open to stand up immediately in case some sort of Gisele Bundchen might come around looking for a seat. The “dead dog” always works.

11:04 PM: after 59 minutes looking for the less worse position to really fall asleep -playing some sort of Tetris game with the 2 conquered seats- and one minute of sleep, the bus stopped and lights turned on. Neither the time to pronounce a “Whaddaf***?!” and I realised it was the second stop to let incontinent and nicotine addicted people have the relief they had been so long waiting for. Take some Yoga classes.
11:35 PM: everybody back on the bus and I spotted out a new interesting character, sitting behind me but never seen before. Barely visible, a dark in the darkness, and due to that immediately named “Shadow man” . I still doubt he was there since the beginning.

Until 4:45 AM: falling asleep and waking up, falling asleep and waking up, falling asleep and waking up. Then I got the news we were about to reach Seville far earlier than expected, and that meant I was going to freeze waiting for the next bus to Algeciras far more than expected.
5:15 AM: dropped at the station, bus to Algeciras scheduled to leave at 8 AM. I needed to go to the toilet but I got in and in a second I was already out: all over it seemed like a mine field , but those mines were not made of metal and gunpowder.

7:14 AM: after taking my time to look for a tree and have a tea then, my bus opened its doors and I got in to avoid freezing.
7:15 AM: f-o-u-r-t-y minutes earlier than what I was told, the bus left to Algeciras. Whaddaf*** could have happened if that tree was not so close to the station?

9:55 AM: ticket for the third bus, to Estepona.

11:20 AM: I finally met Diego, my host, and we went to his house in front of the beach in Manilva (see foto) where we had a great Eastern together with his friends and neighbours.

The Gibraltar area, the most southern point of my travel. Here I am and that’s great.
------------------------------------------------

Trasferimento da Lisbona a Gibilterra, fra sabato 11 e domenica 12 aprile. Fate attenzione agli orari.

Ore 11. Una del gruppo dei couch surfer mi augura buona fortuna per il viaggio, chiedendomi immediatamente after if I'm superstitious. "Absolutely not" my reply, aware that because of his wish to bad luck was in the air.

Hours 21. The bus departs from Lisbon with already one quarter of an hour's delay .
21:10 pm. The bus stops to pick up other passengers and the driver announced a 5-minute break, ostensibly to allow incontinent and nicotine addicted to have some much-needed moment of relief. Noleggiatevi a car.

22 Hours: while frantically seeking a comfortable position to sleep, I look at the main characters of the trip: in front of me two of Las Ketchup and immediately after one of the Gipsy Kings with what I assume is one of his groupies. I swear to myself to blow up a scuffle at the first hint of any "Asereje" or "Djobi Djoba. Open warfare in the event of a collaboration between the two groups.
22:01 pm. The bus left the highway and is penetrates into streets of the country. I wonder if the driver has left behind his handkerchief.
22:04 pm. realize that the bus is doing these streets to pick up other passengers. To avoid traveling with someone to break the side began to make "dead dog" : lying occupying two seats and pretending to be asleep, with his hands to cover almost the entire face but her eyes ever so slightly open and be ready to take over in case a kind of Gisele Bundchen arrivals area in search of a place. And the "dead dog" always works.

23:04. After 59 minutes looking for the least worst place to sleep-really a kind of Tetris with the two-place finish and 1 minute actual sleep, bus stops and the lights come on. No time to say "Machecc ****?!" and I understand that is the second pause to allow incontinent and nicotine addicted people have some much-needed moment of relief. Take a yoga class.
23:35. All back on the bus also known and a new character, who sits behind me but I had not noticed. Barely visible, a dark and darkness in relation to what now renamed the "Thin Man" . I still doubt that it was not there from the beginning.

Up at 4:45. I fall asleep and wake up, I fall asleep and wake up, I fall asleep and wake up. Then comes the news that I will reach Seville well before expected, and that means much more than expected freeze waiting for the bus to Algeciras.
5:15. Landed the train to Algeciras by bus departing at 8. I am about to go to the bathroom but we go out in a second, that all seems a minefield but mines in question are not made of metal and explosive.

7:14. After searching a tree and drank tea with all the calm the world, the coach opens the door and I go up to prevent freezing.
7:15. Forty minutes earlier than I had been told, that's part of the bus to Algeciras. Machecc **** would happen if that tree had not been so close to the station?

9:55. Third ticket, bus to Estepona.

11:20. Diego last meeting, from which they hosted. We move toward his house, opposite the beach in Manilva (see photo), to pass a good Easter with his friends and neighbors.

Gibraltar and nearby, the most southerly point of my journey. There are and it's a great feeling.
