How To Put We Prefer Cash Gifts

AGAIN / STILL IN COACH

Moving from Lisbon to Manilva (Gibraltar area), Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th. Pay attention to the timetable.

11 AM: one of the couch surfers saying goodbye wished me good luck, asking right after that if I was superstitious. “Absolutely not” was my answer, but since that moment I knew bad luck was in the air.

9 PM: the bus left Lisbon Oriente Station with a 15 minutes delay .
9:10 PM: the bus made the first stop to pick up other passengers and the driver announced a 5 minutes pause, obviously to let incontinent and nicotine addicted people have the relief they had already been so long waiting for. Rent a car.

10 PM: while struggling to find the less worse position to fall asleep, I started spotting out the main characters of the trip: right in front of me 2 members of the English girlband Las Ketchup and in front of them one of the Gipsy Kings with most probably one of his groupies. I swore to myself to start a riot at the first possible hint to “Asereje” or “Djobi Djoba”. And a war in case of a collabo.
10:01 PM: the bus left the highway and started going through narrow town streets . I started wondering if the driver had forgotten his handkerchief home.
10:04 PM: I realized the bus was going that direction to pick up some other passengers. To avoid travelling with somebody annoying next to me, I started playing the “dead dog” : laying on the 2 seats pretending to be asleep, with my hood on and my hands almost covering my face. Eyes slightly open to stand up immediately in case some sort of Gisele Bundchen might come around looking for a seat. The “dead dog” always works.

11:04 PM: after 59 minutes looking for the less worse position to really fall asleep -playing some sort of Tetris game with the 2 conquered seats- and one minute of sleep, the bus stopped and lights turned on. Neither the time to pronounce a “Whaddaf***?!” and I realised it was the second stop to let incontinent and nicotine addicted people have the relief they had been so long waiting for. Take some Yoga classes.
11:35 PM: everybody back on the bus and I spotted out a new interesting character, sitting behind me but never seen before. Barely visible, a dark in the darkness, and due to that immediately named “Shadow man” . I still doubt he was there since the beginning.

Until 4:45 AM: falling asleep and waking up, falling asleep and waking up, falling asleep and waking up. Then I got the news we were about to reach Seville far earlier than expected, and that meant I was going to freeze waiting for the next bus to Algeciras far more than expected.
5:15 AM: dropped at the station, bus to Algeciras scheduled to leave at 8 AM. I needed to go to the toilet but I got in and in a second I was already out: all over it seemed like a mine field , but those mines were not made of metal and gunpowder.

7:14 AM: after taking my time to look for a tree and have a tea then, my bus opened its doors and I got in to avoid freezing.
7:15 AM: f-o-u-r-t-y minutes earlier than what I was told, the bus left to Algeciras. Whaddaf*** could have happened if that tree was not so close to the station?

9:55 AM: ticket for the third bus, to Estepona.

11:20 AM: I finally met Diego, my host, and we went to his house in front of the beach in Manilva (see foto) where we had a great Eastern together with his friends and neighbours.

The Gibraltar area, the most southern point of my travel. Here I am and that’s great.
------------------------------------------------

Trasferimento da Lisbona a Gibilterra, fra sabato 11 e domenica 12 aprile. Fate attenzione agli orari.

Ore 11. Una del gruppo dei couch surfer mi augura buona fortuna per il viaggio, chiedendomi immediatamente after if I'm superstitious. "Absolutely not" my reply, aware that because of his wish to bad luck was in the air.

Hours 21. The bus departs from Lisbon with already one quarter of an hour's delay .
21:10 pm. The bus stops to pick up other passengers and the driver announced a 5-minute break, ostensibly to allow incontinent and nicotine addicted to have some much-needed moment of relief. Noleggiatevi a car.

22 Hours: while frantically seeking a comfortable position to sleep, I look at the main characters of the trip: in front of me two of Las Ketchup and immediately after one of the Gipsy Kings with what I assume is one of his groupies. I swear to myself to blow up a scuffle at the first hint of any "Asereje" or "Djobi Djoba. Open warfare in the event of a collaboration between the two groups.
22:01 pm. The bus left the highway and is penetrates into streets of the country. I wonder if the driver has left behind his handkerchief.
22:04 pm. realize that the bus is doing these streets to pick up other passengers. To avoid traveling with someone to break the side began to make "dead dog" : lying occupying two seats and pretending to be asleep, with his hands to cover almost the entire face but her eyes ever so slightly open and be ready to take over in case a kind of Gisele Bundchen arrivals area in search of a place. And the "dead dog" always works.

23:04. After 59 minutes looking for the least worst place to sleep-really a kind of Tetris with the two-place finish and 1 minute actual sleep, bus stops and the lights come on. No time to say "Machecc ****?!" and I understand that is the second pause to allow incontinent and nicotine addicted people have some much-needed moment of relief. Take a yoga class.
23:35. All back on the bus also known and a new character, who sits behind me but I had not noticed. Barely visible, a dark and darkness in relation to what now renamed the "Thin Man" . I still doubt that it was not there from the beginning.

Up at 4:45. I fall asleep and wake up, I fall asleep and wake up, I fall asleep and wake up. Then comes the news that I will reach Seville well before expected, and that means much more than expected freeze waiting for the bus to Algeciras.
5:15. Landed the train to Algeciras by bus departing at 8. I am about to go to the bathroom but we go out in a second, that all seems a minefield but mines in question are not made of metal and explosive.

7:14. After searching a tree and drank tea with all the calm the world, the coach opens the door and I go up to prevent freezing.
7:15. Forty minutes earlier than I had been told, that's part of the bus to Algeciras. Machecc **** would happen if that tree had not been so close to the station?

9:55. Third ticket, bus to Estepona.

11:20. Diego last meeting, from which they hosted. We move toward his house, opposite the beach in Manilva (see photo), to pass a good Easter with his friends and neighbors.

Gibraltar and nearby, the most southerly point of my journey. There are and it's a great feeling.
